A small, rotating selection of plants I grow myself — all suited to our zone 10a/10b climate. Reserve the one you want, pick it up locally, and pay by Venmo. No shipping, no middleman.

New plants join the list as they’re ready — check back, or text me to ask what’s growing.
Everything here is tuned for USDA zone 10a/10b (Alameda, CA) — where I grow and sell. Winters are mild enough that cannas live outdoors year-round, so there's no lifting or storing. Pick how you're growing yours:
Feed monthly, March through September. Cannas are hungry: a balanced fertilizer, or one a little higher in potassium (K) for more blooms. Ease off by early fall.
In zone 10a/10b they stay in the ground year-round — no digging up or storing rhizomes. Just cut back and mulch in late fall.
A guide, not a rulebook — nudge the timing to your own microclimate and how your plants are actually behaving. Zone 10a/10b runs roughly a low of 30–40°F on the coldest nights — Alameda winters are mild and nearly frost-free.
